Grand Prix Racing 1906-1914 Mathieson

T.A.S.O. Mathieson was a London based Scot who raced Bugatti’s, Maseratis and Talbots prior to WWII he also produced this book which is one of the hidden gems for anyone interested in early motor racing history. Sub titled A history of the Grands prix of the Automobile Club of France it is a supremely detailed history of each of what one would call the Formula 1 of the period from 1906 to the start of WW1 in 1914. This is published in English and is a goldmine of information with circuit maps showing the actual public roads used in all those early Grands Prix and hundreds of photographs of the cars taking part. However the most important part is that it lists every car with technical details throughout this period. It is an absolute treasure chest of information. It comes in its original board sleeve cover.

Separate illustrations include the entry list and details for the 1912 event.
