Maserati by Orsini/Zagari

Published in 1980 this tome covers the entire history of Maserati from the earliest days and is one of the classic books on the Marque. It comes in its own heavy duty box and weighs over 2 kilos.

Where this book scores is that Franco Zagari, the co-author and his father had one of the finest collections of motor racing photographs in Italy as they from time to time bought up other collectors archive photos with the result that there are some fascinating photographs of Maseratis through the years

In addition to the story, each model of Maserati is not only described but the original chassis number and owner of the car is also shown as well as information where only an engine was produced rather than a full car; and even the powerboats using Maserati engines.

I have used information from this book for forty years but it is in superb condition and now hard to find.
