For example there are pages of descriptions and mini bographies of up and coming racing drivers such as Martin Brundle, David Hobbs etc who all went on to greater things . Then there is the section on British racing circuits and who runs them,
In the international section there are details of events such as the Formula Pacific Championship in New Zealand where we see Keke Rosberg won the champinship in 1977 and 1978, or that Vern Schuppan won the Australian Formula 1/5000 Championship in 1976 or even that Red Byron won the 1949 NASCAR Grand National Championship ahead of Lee Petty and Bob Flock.
All the British racing car manufacturers get background histories and details. Do you remember the Rawlson or theHaggispeed for example? This will remind you.
