This is an interesting 245 page paperback book produced by three of South Africa’s leading motoring journalists, Greg Mills, Andrew Reed and Robert Young and is written around the many visits David Piper made to South Africa with his cars.

This book is now fairly rare and has hundreds of photos of the sports car series that attracted many drivers and cars over the years. It is also a biography of David Piper who raced a Lotus 12 in grand prix racing but is best known for racing various Ferrari’s and a Lola T70.
What is more important is that the photos and race descriptions give a greater insight into sports car racing in South Africa in its greatest period.
