Ferrari 1947-1997 The Official Book

Published by Ferrari to celebrate the first 50 years of the Ferrari marque it is the official book produced by the company and not only covers Ferrari’s development through the years but has separate articles written by some well-known Ferrari drivers describing their experiences. So you have Juan Manuel Fangio describing his Love/Hate relationship with Ferrari to Jody Scheckter, Alain Prost and Michael Schumacher.

Naturally, it is full of photographs of drivers and races, technical drawings of engines and chassis including road cars and even lists all the drivers who have driven for Scuderia Ferrari and notable race wins for every year.

What makes this book even more friendly is that it has a concise index at the back so you do not need to wade through its 400 pages. It weighs over 2.4 kilos and is a remarkable souvenir of the first fifty years.
