£25.00£30.00

The Fiat Zero of 1912 ( 12-15 HP) is now accepted as the first large production small capacity Fiat family car. It was built as an open tourer and over 2000 were built between 1912 and 1915 by which time WW 1 had started. It had a four cylinder 1846cc engine and was also sold in chassis form to many coachbuilders who added their own interpretations.

Enzo Ferrari passed his driving test driving a Fiat Zero owned by the Stanguellini family who were Fiat dealers for Modena and the actual car with its unique registration number MO1 was the first car to be given a registration number in Modena.

This RIO model is a typical example of the Zero.
