This hard cover annual was produced by noted Italian historians Franco Varisco and Pino Allievi and differs from most in that it features a series of articles specially written about Ferrari and published in English, Italian and French.
There is a great mixture of background stories that are not the ones you normally read about Ferrari. Some examples: an article with photographs of the attraction of Ferrari for Hollywood stars and personalities like James Stewart, Anna Magnani, Roberto Rossolini King Hussain , The story of the 850cc Ferrarina which became the ASA Mille, Ferrari’s first sponsorship painted on the cars, Luigi Bazzi, Ferrari’s old engineer friend who stayed with him all his life. It also has results, grids etc for all the Ferrari’s in Grands prix for that year and details of the road cars introduced.
